Installation Issues across Creative Cloud and Illustrator

Hello,

I have troubles installing Creative Cloud app, and Illustrator. I am running macOS Catalina on my 2018 15" MBP.

 

In the CC case, the installation just stops at either 9.8% or 21.5%. It does not give me an error code or anything. Interestingly enough, I have to force quit the installator, because I can't just quit it with cmd + Q.

 

In the case of Illustrator, it just straight away gives me a generic code 1 error.

 

So any idea on how to complete the installation?

Aleksanderjess, sorry you are facing problems.  Please check the install logs to determine the error that is preventing Illustrator from installing.  Info on how to locate the error messages in the install log can be found at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-logs.html.

Ok so I don't even have Library/Logs/Adobe folder. I only have Library/Logs/CreativeCloud.

Also, I cancelled the plan which was a free trial. After this week I don't have an option do to a free trial again, now can I?

 

This is absolute nonsense. For comparison, I was able to run Inkscape without any issues....

Aleksanderjess, can you post a screenshot of where you are going to find the log files?

It's a big glitch apparently. Adobe isn't compatitble. And they still havne't registered a fix.
