Installation of Lightroom 5 on a new computer using old serial number

I purchased LR in 2015 but have just purchased a new Mac.  I was under the impression I could simply re-install LR on the new computer with the old serial number, but it says the certificate has expired.  Does this mean I have to purchase LR again?

    Try downloading 5.7.1 and installing that

    You should be able to use the serial number again since you won't be able to get a different one.  I am not sure what the mention of a certificate is referring to.
