Installation Problem

Just joined the CC. Upon trying to download my first CC app, Lightroom 5, I am informed that the Adobe Application Manager needs to be updated. It is downloaded, but upon attempting to install, the following message appears: "We've encountered the following issues: Adobe Application Manager failed to install."

I am using a Windows 7 desktop with Adobe Design and Web CS6 and Lightroom 4 installed.

    Hi

    I recommend you to Rename OOBE to OOBE_old from :     C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe      and      C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Local\Adobe

After Rename the folder Go to creative.adobe.com and login -> Download Center -> Download Creative Cloud

After installing creative cloud try to install applications, please let us know in case you face any issue.

    Regards,

THANKS! So far so good. The Creative Cloud app installed and ran fine and now Lightroom 5 is downloading. I'll let you know if I run into any further problems.
