Question

Installation succeeded but a patch failed

Please help! I have been trying to resolve these installation and update issues for a while now. Talked to adobe support and I've just reinstalled all my CC apps after uninstalling. I've ran the adobe cleaner tool and everything. Why can I not update my software! Really frustrating. Surely others have experienced this and I'm sure there is a solution.

This root user thing just worked for me. Trying to get my apps to update from 2014 to 2014.2 and they were all failing. Switched to root user and they all installed just fine.

Jbrown432 it is likely you will need to review your installation logs similar to your previous discussion at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1326319.  Please see Error U44M1I210 | Install updates - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1i210-installing-updates-ccm.html which discusses the steps you have performed so far.  The next step will be to review the installation log files to determine the exact error you are receiving.

Please see Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html for information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

I'm getting the very same error message and it's driving me crazy. I uninstall everything and install again and still it doesn't work. What am I supposed to review the logs for? How would I know what to fix even if I could find the logs and understood them.

Does anyone at Adobe care about these problems? I'm seriously considering not renewing for my team one this subscription ends.

By the way, I reviewed the log file. At the end it says "no error." No sign of this "patch" that can't be loaded.

Idavidson the U44M1I210 error itself indicates there is a failure to extract or mount the DMG/ZIP file depending on your platform.  Do you know what specific patch you are attempting to apply or do you receive this error every time you attempt to download and install?  Also which operating system are you using specifically?
