Installer failed to initialize

I tried to install a trial for CS6 Master Collection, but got an error message "Installation failed. Your installation encountered errors. Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file". No error # was indicated.

As reccommended, I restarted the computer, and tried to run installer again - and it failed - again.

I have an older model of MacBookPro,

with 2GHz Intell Core Duo

1,5 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM,

with Mac OS X Version 10.6.8, freshly installed in updated.

If it's an older MacBook, it probably is no longer supported. and 1.5 GB of RAM doesn't support the minimum requirement for most programs, anyway. in any case, check your system log viewer. Maybe there's soem info there that can shed some light on this.

Yeah, just checked System requirements - my MacBook (made in 2006) does not have the minimum of 4GB of RAM and some other things, like DVD-ROM drive compatible with dual-layer DVDs and so on. Thank you very much!
