Installer not working on Mac

I'm trying to download a trial version of After Effects, which requires downloading Creative Cloud first. When I download the installer, it tells me to double click on the icon to begin installing, but once I double click, allow it to make changes and enter my correct password, nothing happens. At all.

If I try to right click on the icon and Open it that way, I get an error saying that the application can't be opened, because it is not responding.

I already tried to Google this issue and tried to clean everything possible, restarted my laptop several times, but nothing worked.

I got this Mac barely a day ago, so Creative Cloud was never installed on it.
It is OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.3

Hi Byunchai,

Since the Creative Cloud installer is not responding, i would recommend you to disable the Antivirus and computer firewall temporarily and try again. If it still doesn't work, kindly download a fresh setup and install it from here: Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe Creative Cloud trial.

Just in case if it still doesn't work, kindly follow the troubleshooting steps shared here: "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.

You may refer to the following thread as well as a similar issue has been addressed there: CREATIVE CLOUD INSTALLER NOT RESPONDING

Let us know if this helps.
