Installer was unable to access a critical file/directory, Error code 48

Hello everyone,

I seem to be having a problem installing Creative Cloud for my desktop (windows 7)

None of the answers online seem to be helping. I've tried redownloading the setup, restarted multiple times, and put it directly on my desktop but nothing seems to help.

Photoshop HAS been downloaded on the same exact computer before, but now that I've uninstalled and deleted many adobe folders, it doesn't want to install again.

I'm not very computer-savvy so a detailed answer would help a lot.

Correct answer Govardhan.V

Thanks for the reply.

It seemed to be working, until I got the following message:

Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the installation process (Error code: A12E1). For

troubleshooting tips, please visit our customer support page.

I'll try looking around for a solution, but any suggestions?

Step 1)

Click on the below link and open Photoshop Elements download link.

Do not close the page , simply keep it open.

Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10

Then click on below link and download direct Installer file  mentioned in step 2.

It will directly starts installation process right away.

Step 2)

For Windowshttp://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/win32/ACCCx3_1_0_108.zip

once you download the Zip file , Extract it inside C:Drive .

Then right click on Setup.exe file and select Run as Administrator option .

The first link said to put it in Drive C, which I've already done.

The second link was dead end... also for Mac users.

The third was to disable my antivirus and run as an administrator, which I've also done.

For reference, here's my most recent PDApp log:

Thanks for the help!

EDIT: In C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe, the Installers folder doesn't exist at all. Is this a problem?
