First I would like to thank everyone that offered suggestive help in a recent discussion on another Adobe forum.

Adobe are just going through motions, whilst I understand the need for progress, and as a member pointed out,CS5 it is an old version,.

It does everything that I need.

I am not prepared to have to pay a monthly rental, having already spent a lot of money with Adobe buying the earlier version photo shop and upgrading annually.

I have never found an alternative not as good, but I am sure as I get to grips with it it would do all that I need.

Large companies such as Adobe and many more, should have some concern, for existing customers.

Why didn't you say in the first place you won't support your products in the latest software for mac, not give us the frustration are ticking boxes that don't apply.

Then making excuses that my license number was incorrect when I had to product in front of me.

Hold your hand up, and be honest.

Thanks to all the members that did figure out a way of installing en sierra, but Sierra really doesn't need interfering with it is a very nice OS.

actually, it's apple that failed to take extra steps to make sure older software would work with their newer os'es.  microsoft did take steps to facilitate compatibility between older software and their newer os'es.

ntl, you're correct: adobe doesn't offer much employee support for their older software.
