Installing Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App on an external hard drive

Hello, I temporarily uninstalled my Creative Cloud Desktop App, including Photosgop, After Effects, etc. from my 2019 Macbook Pro (Intel, Sonoma) due to storage issues.

When its time for me to use it again, would it be possible to install Crrative Cloud and all included apps on an external SSD?

the cc desktop app itself, no.

the apps installed by the cc desktop app, yes - if the ssd is formatted properly eg,case-insensitive like ex-fat

I see, thank you. I was indeed able to install the apps that I need to an SSD, by creating a 'Creative Cloud' folder in it, and setting that folder as destination for installing my apps.

Is it confirmed that we cannot relocate the Creative Cloud desktop app itself?
