I purchased the Adobe Design & Web Premium CS6 for Mac last year. I installed it on my laptop then, but now I just got a new computer and would like to install it onto that. How do I do this? When I enter the serial code It tells me that I can only register it once, but I know that you can install adobe products on 2 devices. I don't plan on spending hundreds of dollars for the same product. Please help! Thanks!@

I think you're misunderstanding how serial numbers work.

For each purchase of the software you get one license (one serial number). That serial number is unique to you and must be used every time you install the software.

One serial number permits you to activate the software on up to two different computers at the same time.

So, in your case, you download the software from Download Creative Suite 6 applications

Install then enter your serial number. You don't need a new serial number or a different one. Just use the one you've got. The one you have is linked to an activation count on Adobe's server.

Registration and activation are two completely different things. Are you referring to registration or activation?

You can only register your serial number on Adobe's servers once - so Adobe has a record of your ownership and serial number.

You can download and install the software on as many computers as you wish.

However you can only activate the software for use on a maximum of two computers at the same time.

I would like to download and install the software onto my new computer. So If I already used that serial number the first time i installed it does that mean I can't download it on to my new computer? I purchased the digital download of it from Best Buy, so i don't have a disc or anything. Is there a way to get a second serial number? I'm unsure of how I solve this.

Thanks for the quick response!!
