Installing After Effects CS6 on macOS Sierra

Question

I've downloaded AfterEffects_11_LS7.dmg and followed the instructions in this guide to install on Sierra. Right after I put my serial number in, it either hangs or reports an error and stops. I followed the directions in this guide to troubleshoot the error logs and I found the following errors in the PDApp.log file.

08/01/17 23:58:11:786 | [ERROR] | | ASU | LWANative | P7Native | | | 1289579 | OOBElib returned error: 34

08/01/17 23:58:11:817 | [ERROR] | | ASU | LWANative | OPM | | | 1289579 | received empty url from dispatchlib

which points me to the oobelib.log file where I found the following

But none of those errors show up in the guide.

Any additional guidance available? Thanks!

CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates

-Apple did not maintain backward compatibility with old programs in El Capitan or Sierra

--Adobe has a workaround to Apple's problem of not maintaining backward compatibility
