installing after effects isn’t working.

i've been trying to install after effects for hours. i have plenty of space. it keeps going into my background apps on task manager. i got a helper and they tried they're best but they couldn't fix it. and said i needed more ram. i'm confused because i'm pretty sure i have enough, most of my games can be on the highest settings. not getting any install failed notifications or anything. someone please help nothing is even popping up.
