Installing Ai on new computer

Question

How would i go about installing AI, which I pay a monthly fee to use, on my new laptop. Do I need to erase it from my old one which is still in my possession. Another question:  can it be installed on a 2tb external drive?

When you have a subscription you install the same way as the 1st time... you may have on 2 computers
