I've been sent a link by Adobe in order for me to download, install and register my old copy of CS2 Premium on my Mac, as I can no longer register it. The supporting PDF document says there should be seven files to download and install but I see only six, one of these being the how to install PDF and the file names don't match those given on the PDF either. Am I missing some files and if so where do I go to get them?

    Hi ,

The download for CS have been replaced by the one in the KB: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.html

This due to the shutdown of the activation / registration server. So please follow the instruction on this page please.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

I can down load OK, but as mentioned I seem to be short of the "Premium" files but have all the standard ones.

I've now got another problem as when I try to install the downloaded software I'm told I've already got the software installed. If I do a find on the hard drive none of the software comes up.

I have the original soft ware on my back up but can't re-store from this as I can't register the software and some parts of Illustrator don't copy over.

    Nick.
