    Correct answer Mylenium

It's not compatible with Win 7/ Win 8.

I also have the same problem - have 4 x CS2 licenses for office computers, and our IT team have upgraded our computers to Windows 7 Machines.  I have downloaded and installed the files in the correct order from Adobe, but then get the following error message:  "Missing or Invalid Personalisation Information.  Missing Resources Library" - How do I install the CS2 to their machines (they only really use InDesign and Photoshop - and only need to use it about once per week) - hardly fair to have to buy brand new licenses - Please help!

Cobewb you are welcome to try the steps listed in Error: "...user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid..." when you start Adobe Production Studio applications (Windows) - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/error-user-name-organization-or.html.  You will likely need to adapt the instructions as Microsoft changed the directory structure for common files with the introduction of Windows Vista.

It works just fine on Win 7.  I've been using it for a year or so now.  I got the same error when I changed computers and realized that either 1) I tried to start the setup from Disc 1 (it should be extracted after Disc 2 and 3 and after extracting Disc 1, it will start the install and will find 2 and 3, or 2) I had not extracted all 3 files to the same folder.

Hi I have installed disc1 and put in disk 2 as asked but it just keeps popping out. I don't quite understand about installing from disc 2.

it worked well in win 7, but in win 8 it seems impossible. And: buying CS6 is only part of the solution, because CS2 files are not campatible with CS6

Which specific type of CS2 files are you referring too?  I am not personally aware of any files which are created by Creative Suite 2 applications that can not be open by CS6.  CS6 native adobe file formats of course can not be opened by CS2.

Thanks Mylenium, but how then do we utilise the software we purchased?  (As I also have the same problem - have 4 x CS2 licenses for office computers, and our IT team have upgraded our computers to Windows 7 Machines.  I have downloaded and installed the files in the correct order from Adobe, but then get the following error message:  "Missing or Invalid Personalisation Information.  Missing Resources Library" - How do I install the CS2 to their machines (they only really use InDesign and Photoshop - and only need to use it about once per week) - hardly fair to have to buy brand new licenses)
