Installing CS4 on a computer without a CD Rom

So I recently purchased a Lenovo Yoga, running the latest version of Windows. I have used CS4 for years on my old Dell (Windows 7 and most recently Windows 10) but my new computer doesn't have a CD Rom and my husband (busy computer programmer) assured me that we could install my software on my new computer. Something about sharing the folder through our home network or some such. He uses Linux. For whatever reason his computer and my new computer do not like each other and we haven't been able to install. I figured I'd come here for ideas rather than bug him further.

Any suggestions?
