Installing CS5.5 from Mac Osx 10.5.8 to Mac Osx 10.8.2?

I bought CS5.5 a year ago and had it installed on my Mac osx 10.5.8. I just got a new computer - mac osx 10.8.2. I removed CS5.5 from the Mac Osx 10.5.8 and want to put it on my mac osx 10.8.2. It keeps showing an error number 6 whenever I try to do so. What am I doing wrong?
