Question

Installing CS5.5 on new computer

My old computer is breaking down, and I have to buy a new one. I've been using Adobe Design Premium CS5.5, and I'm wondering if it's possible to install this software on the new computer. Do I need to deactivate each application (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) individually for installation? I also have a Photography membership with Adobe. Will this likely cause any conflicts, or not? The new computer will have either Win 10 or Win 11 as the operating system. Can I successfully install it on the new machine using the downloaded file DesignPremium_CS5_5_LS4Z.7z?

you should be use both installation files (the exe and 7z) to install and install as admin.

you may need to use compatibility mode to install.

you only need to deactivate one your cs5.5 apps on your old computer. that will deactivate all that are part of the same suite install.

there should be no problem with your photography plan.  just install the cc desktop app on your new computer and use it to install your apps.

note: it's expected that your cc subscription will take over your cs5.5 apps so you may as well install cc first and then cs5.5 (which will be activated by virtue of your cc subscription).
