Installing CS5

I bought a new computer, Before I downloaded CS2023, I uninsatalled CS5. Huge mistake!! How do I reinstall CS5? I don't discs, CS5 was an upgrade to CS4, I do have the registratiob number. Asking Adobe directly about this is an exercise in futility. Can someone help. Please!

    It may be a moot point as most new computer OSs are not compatible with legacy Creative Suite from 10+ years ago.  If you're on a modern Mac, that ship has sailed.  Legacy 32-bit software won't work on 64-bit OSs.

     

    If you already have Creative Cloud 2023, why on earth do you need 10+ year old obsolete software?

      Because I am the least technological person you'll ever meet. 2023 might as
      well be written in Martian, for all I know. It took me a long time to
      master what I wanted from CS5 and it's comfortable.

        you'll need

         

        1.  the cs5 installation file that matches your serial number and

         

        2. you'll need both the cs5 and cs4 serial numbers and

         

        3. you'll need a compatible computer.

          IF/When you do have a download, be sure to copy it to AT LEAST one external device
          you should ALWAYS keep a copy (or two!) on an external device
          since Adobe DOES SOMETIMES REMOVE OLD VERSIONS FROM THE SERVER
          a usb flash drive or external hard drive, or write to a CD or DVD
          plus a text file containing your serial number if you have a serial number program

          you will also need to keep your previous serial number when you have an upgrade version
