Installing Discs on my new laptop

I am trying to install my ADobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection onto a new laptop (MacBookair) i am getting a message telling me that the install needs to be updated. I am not an IT person at all. can anyone hlp me please?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

unless your new laptop has a very old os, you can't install cs5 (or any 32 bit software) on a 64 bit only os.

Here are the requirements for CS5, including MacOS v10.5.7 or v10.6

Apple closed us out of older applications (again). CS5 will not run on macOS14 Sonoma

sorry, not sure i understand. you telling me that i am not able to upload it? At all? how is that fair? 

it cost me a lot of money to buy in the first place and now i cant upload ?

download you can do, but that won't help you.
