Hi, I really help someone can help as I've had very conflicting unhelpful advice directly from Adobe support. I upgraded my MacBook to

Catalina 10.15.7 and now all my Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 has a 'no entry' sign in white. I've tried downlaods that don't work and because I no

longer have a CD drive I can't reinstall the discs. Can anyone advise, would really appreciate the guidance please, Catherine.

If you buy a new Mac you choose to make all your old apps useless (even with a CD drive). There is no work around, this is dead and useless and you now need to subscribe. Getting rid of creaky old apps and spending money on new ones is all part of the Joy Of Mac.

Its not a new Mac. I bought the one in question in 2015.

I have a newer one but thats a work laptop.

Ok, maybe you can somehow get an older system back (not clear how unless you have archived the mojave installer), and rescue your investment, but in going to Catalina, you certainly were making a bonfire of all your old apps. CS 5.5. wasn't made for mojave either and you may face many challenges installing - but at least it is possible and some have succeeded.

    Hi

CS5 will not work on Catalina, you need to revert to a previous version of the OS that it did work on

Download links are available from here and seem to be working

Thanks Ged, any idea if they'll work with Mojave? No sure how to go to an older operating system now?
