installing fireworks cs4: error 1612

Does anyone know how to overcome the error 1612 while trying to re-install my fireworks cs4?

    Thank you for the information, will any of those that failed to install cause fireworks any grief while I am using it?


    Not  exactly , this error happens if the download file has some issue  or if the necessary package file is unable to access from the downloaded Installer file .Hence the error mentions - Error 1612.  The installation source for this product is not available.

    Make sure that the installer file size matches correct as mentioned on website .

    Optional : If you wish you may re-download file , before that you may perform below optional steps :

    1) Clear Temp folder . [ skip those file which cannot be deleted ]

    2) Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily.

    3)If you are using Wireless/ Wifi Internet connection  , try downloading using Ethernet Wired connection which is more stable connection .

    4) Make sure this will be the only download running in progress, multiple downloads simultaneously affect the connectivity if the speed drops due to sharing .

    Note : Avoid download pausing and resuming .

    May I know whether you are using Installation disc or Downloaded installer file ?

    If you are using downloaded installer file , have you downloaded it on Shared Network drive or Secondary Storage device? 

    Corporate network computer or Personal comp?

    Windows or Mac ?
