installing illustrator on another computer

I have Adobe Illustrator CS4 on my PC (which is no longer working). I have the disk and codes but I can't seem to install it on my laptop. How can I get it to work?

are you able to deactivate ai cs4 on your old computer?

if not, and you see an error message re your activation limit, you'll need to contact customer support.  chat works well:  www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

if you're not seeing that error message, attach a screenshot of the error message, if any, that you see.
