I have spent the last 6 hours trying to troubleshoot this problem using these forums and other resources and I'm now at a loss. I've done the following:

- PC is newly reimaged to Windows 7

- Verified connection to Adobe Servers (seeing the logo etc)

- Windows Firewall is off

- AV is turned off

- Running as user

- Running as admin

- Running under a domain admin account

- Running in compatibility mode

- Checked/turned off IE security zones

- There's no proxy configured

- Downloaded Adobe CC Desktop - get error 201 when trying to install that

- Downloaded and ran Adobe CC Cleaner Tool

- Removed OOBE registry entires

- VPNed out

- Ran Windows in safe mode with networking

- Used a mobile hotspot from two different phones and mobile providers

- Tried IE, Chrome, and Firefox to get the initial installer from the Adobe site

- Checked host file

- Downloaded a different offline version of Adobe CC Desktop whilst keeping another Adobe webpage open

- Checked SonicWALL firewall, nothing getting stuck but I've added exclusions for all the Adobe servers mentioned in troubleshooting guide and it's still not working

Please can someone advise me on what else I can try to get this resolved?

Mariellam67128244, per the link offered by Ned in message #2, Error Code 205 occurs because the downloaded file is becoming damaged.  You also mentioned that you received Error 201 when attempting to download and install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application this error occurs because the download is being interrupted.

Both of these errors would point to Internet communication failures that are preventing the download process from completing successfully.

Complete details on the necessary servers, and ports, needed to utilize a Creative Cloud membership can be found at https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Creative_Cloud_for_enterprise_Service_Endpoints.pdf Mariellam67128244.  You can use the details to configure any software, or hardware, firewalls to allow connection to the required servers.

Once I made sure my corporate Firewall was open, completely, my problems subsided.  Definitely firewall related in my case.

Thanks,

Is there anyone else that can offer any advice considering what has already been tried in the original post

I'm not sure why you have linked me to that when I have already carried out every step mentioned in the troubleshooting the 205 error code page.
