Hi Guys, It's been weeks I had this error overtime tried to download and update the indesign app but it's always failed.

Below is the summary report from the fail app:

Exit Code: 146

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

- 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 1 warnings(s)

FATAL: Error (Code = 146) executing in command 'MoveDirectoryCommand' for package: 'AdobeInDesign12AppBase-mul', version:12.1.0.056

FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobeInDesign12AppBase-mul Version: 12.1.0.056). Error code: '146'

WARN: Failed to move directory '/.adobeTemp/35EDA3E0-4A92-4445-951C-068EE1BAC8A8/1/AdobeInDesign12AppBase-mul/INSTALLDIR/Adobe InDesign CC 2017.app' to '/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ShareKit.framework/Versions/A/PlugIns/FacebookProfilePic.appex/Contents/Resources/Base.lproj/Adobe InDesign CC 2017.app'

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have tried all the 146 step from Adobe Resolve Error Code 146 or 147 encountered while installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps.

which are include, reinstalling the CC and also try to uninstalling the cc (did once and still failed and now the uninstaller gone now and just the alias inside the indesign app folder. I also try to do manually as below but couldn't move the app to the folder.

Manually create the required directory

Manually create the directory mentioned in the error message. In the example error at the top of this page, you could manually create the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5 directory to resolve the error.

For full details of the error encountered, review the Install.log file. See Download and install errors for more information on reviewing this file.

So if there anyone could help me on this that would be great.

Thank you

Kind regards,

Nic

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
