Installing Lightroom Classic

Signed up for CC over three hours ago and asked to download Lightroom Classic (OSX 10.13.6).

 

All I get is a screen telling me Lightroom is installing but nothing is downloading.

 

I already have LR 6.14 installed.

 

Monitoring Sytem Monitor shows up intermittent message:

"Adobe Desktop Service (Not Respnding)".

In my ignorance I just deleted the error response in Activity Monitor, restart and all worked fine.  Pure luck on my part!

 

Lr and Ps downloaded fine now.

Jeff are you able to help me? I signed up for CC three days ago and when I try to install there is the screen telling me Lightroom is installing but nothing is downloading. I too have LR 6.14 installed. No other messages appear. Just nothing happening!

Tomandb, sorry you are facing problems installing Lightroom Classic.  Do you ever receive a specific error message, or is the install just stuck at a percentage?  The error message will still be recorded in the logs.  Please see http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html for information on how to locate the error preventing the download and install of Adobe XD.
