Installing Lightroom on Mac : Coresynch problem

Just purchased new Mac and when I tried to download Lightroom it said something about the Coresynch? help!

    It says:

    Failed to start CoreSync

    Could not create ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync

    When do you receive the error Jaime1120?  Is it while opening Lightroom or when attempting to install Lightroom?   What version of Lightroom are you attempting to install on macOS 10.12?
