installing LR on Mac

I just purchased LightRoom 5(upgrade from 4); I downloaded it onto my Mac OS 10.9.5. I got the file on my desktop, but when I click it to install, I get message that disc image can't be opened,image not recognized. What do I do

    Download it again using another browser and/ or picking a different storage location.
