Installing new software

Over a month ago, I downloaded free trials of Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop, Those have obviously expired. I recently purchased the creative suite master collection and was wondering if it was better to uninstall the trials, and then reinstall everything? or just type in my serial number into the pop-up window for those trials? Thanks!
