Installing Photoshop CC 2019 getting error code 41

I have an Intel MBP 2019 running Big Sur. I need to install Photoshop 2019 to run some old plugins. When I run the install I immediatly get an error message "Installer was unable to access a critical file/directory. Please try installing again. Error Code -41.

Hi,

Sorry for being curious. But did you ever find a solution to this problem with the error code 41?

I have exactly the same problem trying to install Photoshop 2019 (although I'm running High Sierra).

But if you found a solution, I would be grateful to hear about it.

run the installer as admin to resolve this error.
