Installing Photoshop Elements 7

I am migrating Photoshop Elements 7 to a new computer.  I have located the files and installed them on my new machine.  I have also noted the product serial number.  When I opened Elements for the first time, I was prompted to enter the product serial number.  I received a message saying the serial number was not recognised.  I have repeated the process several times with no success.  I am using a Windows 10 pro system.  As I am not currently an enterprise customer, there does not seem to be any way for me to contact Adobe directly.  I would be grateful for any assistance anyone can offer.

Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device to start the interaction.

you don't need to be an enterprise customer to contact adobe support, but adobe support only offers a very limited amount of help for non-current adobe products.

your current issue is you "migrated' pse 7.  that is sure to fail.

you need to properly install adobe programs.  you may still have problems because pse 7 is so old the activation servers may no longer be functional, but that will give a different error message.
