Installing problem photoshop elements 14

I've been trying to install elements 14 on a new computer running windows 10, but although I get a desktop icon, it won't open. On trying to install again, I get the message "the product is not a genuine Adobe product and appears to be counterfeit". The product was bought at Christmas 2015 when I tried to install it on a laptop running Windows Vista. Any suggestions?

    Hi Davidt7685382,

As you have mentioned that you have encountered the error "the product is not a genuine Adobe product and appears to be counterfeit" while installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 on windows 10, I would like to know if you have tried John's suggestions.

And in addition to that, I would also like to recommend the steps mentioned on this link: -Warning: "Adobe Genuine Software Validation Failure..." in Windows and share the results, we would be happy to take this further.

    Thanks.
