installing pse 7 serial number not valid

I was having issues with a pse 7. I uninstalled then downloaded a fresh copy from Adobe. I entered my serial number and it returned 'not a valid serial number'. But it is valid.

    Maybe you are looking at the wrong number.  http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.htm

    Hi Ned,

    Thanks for the reply. The link you provided is no longer available. Also the number is the one which shows up in my Adobe account and that matches the one I found on my computer using Belarc Advisor.

    There is an omitted character in Ned's link: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html should work better.
