Internet connection breaks down during downloading

Hello

During downloading of any application from the creative cload ALWAYS my internect connection fails.

I cannot dowload more than about 10 % of the application. Then it stops and I have to restart both my Imac and modem to reestabish the internet connection.

I switched off all firewalls (both in Imac and Cisco Linksys E4200) but the problem persists.

Can anybody help?

Hi Mylenium

I think it  is not the network:

I am using here a 100 Mbs glass fibre network and I never experience any problem with dowloading large files.

But I installed a VPN server on my Imac and reconfigured the ports in the router. Perhaps my problem is related to one of these issue? Has anybody experience with it? If I shut down the VPN server the problem persists.

Alex I would recommend for your next step that you connect the iMac directly to the Internet.  This will allow you to determine if you are facing difficulties with your router configuration or it is a software configuration issue.

Really nothing to do with Adobe. Your ISP is putting the throttle on your connection or simply has generally not the best network in your area and something times out... Talk to them to figure out things...
