see http://forums.adobe.com/message/4293531#4293531 from another user who's apparently having exactly the same issues.

however, the "answer" provided there appears to be irrelevant. first and foremost, I returned to the computer to find this message, so I didn't "force" it to stop extracting. when I restarted the computer and then the download assistant, I was unable to re-download because it's already on the computer, got the checksum error again, and the download assistant has been stuck in extracting and can't even be force quit.

not giving me the warm fuzzies here peeps...

and because of my work schedule, I won't have any more time to waste on this until next weekend. time to buy from another company perhaps? this is ridiculous.

running on Lion 10.7.4

tried downloading on my windows 7 box, but stopped when I saw that the upgrade price was the same as the full purchase price.

If you are running Snow Leopard or Lion OSX, navigate to Disk utility->Preferences. Uncheck "verify checksums" and then install

If they install successfully, please go back to the Disk utility-> Preferences option and reselect "verify checksums".
