Invalid serial number

I am trying to download Photoshop Elements 9 from CD. The program was inadvertently removed from my laptop during a recent repair. As required during installation, I filled in the serial number as follows [serial no. removed - kglad]. This was rejected as invalid. (It may, in fact, have been the serial number for a previous version of elements) The number 310637100 appears below the bar code on the installation CD. Can you please let me have the correct serial number so that I can proceed with the installation. Many thanks David Novell

you can check your account for your serial number and version if you purchased from or registered with adobe, https://www.adobe.com/account.html

    this may also help, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html

I too have been given an given an "Invalid Serial Number" message after trying to install PSE 7 on my new laptop. I have the original disk with the serial number on the case.

I received my Photoshop Elements 9 CD free on purchasing an Epson

Perfection V600 Photo scanner, I think during 2012. (There is a number -

411683400 - under the bar code displayed on the Epson instruction sheet.) I

used it to upgrade the Elements 6 that was already installed and well used

on my laptop. I have no record of registering my copy of Elements 9 with

    Adobe.

Is there any way of Adobe authorising an online download of the Elements 9

software for me to install on my laptop? The program was removed from my

laptop during a recent repair and I have no record of the CD serial number.

    Many thanks

    David

you can download pse 9.  it's freely available.

but you need a valid serial number to activate it.  contact epson if you can't find your serial number.

    Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
