invalid serial number verson 9 standard

I bought version 9 Standard in 2012 and recently my hard disk failed so I am trying to install it again using the download link from the Adobe website but the installer says I have an invalid serial number even though it is valid. the online chat support wont help me. Apparently it might  be to do with it being an OEM software bundle? Any ideas?

    Does your serial number show on your account page?

    If OEM it "may" be that only one install is allowed
