Is Adobe revoking everyones CS6?

Question

So I just bought a new laptop and went to switch my cs6 to it, so I deactivated cs6 on my old laptop and went to enter in the License Number and it said it was revoked.

I got cs6 included in my tuition through my school and now customer service is saying it was from a nonregistered retailer which isnt true.

I know this is happening to a lot of people I know and I believe Adobe is doing this to get rid of as many cs6 users so they can make the monthly subscription revenue instead. Im wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if anyone has heard of any legal action or any type of solutions? Thanks for listening I am extremely frustrated about this as the only reason I went and bought a gaming laptop with 2 tb memory was for using adpbe products.

Cxn33, sorry that the Creative Suite 6 license you were using is no longer valid. If you had a license through your education institution then I would encourage you to contact them. If you are a current student then you can likely obtain the Creative Cloud for Education membership that they are likely currently offering instead of Creative Suite.

I do see that you contacted our support team under case ADB-336994-C6K6. If you did receive the message that the serial number was revoked then please see Invalid or revoked serial numbers .

I have read in the past that SOME schools bought a "special" license that had a time limit so the school paid less

I have no idea if that is what your school did, but it is the only thing I know of that might apply
