Is it possible to downgrade from CC to CS6?

Hello,

I have recently gone freelance, and so am considering upgrading my Adobe CS6 to Creative Cloud. However, I am a bit nervous about freelancing and worry if it doesn't work out in a year's time, I may not wish to continue paying for the CC subscription, as my original CS6 would suffice.

So I am wondering if I upgrade to CC, would it be possible to change it back and downgrade back to my CS6 if I ever stop being freelance? I have the complete Creative Suite, so Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver etc and would need them all back.

Many thanks for your help,

Sarah

you can use cs6 and cc at the same time.  a cc subscription includes most cs6 programs.

you should secure your cs6 serial number before installing cc because your perpetual license will be converted to subscription and if, sometime later, you wanted to terminate your subscription, you'll need to reinstall your cs6 and enter your serial number to activate it.

CS6 was/is great software.  But keep in mind that it's not forever ware.  It's no longer sold or supported and at some point in the future, it may stop working with the latest & greatest operating systems.    That's the risk you take with legacy software.

Best of luck with your freelancing!
