Is it safe to remove 2019 versions of apps, keep only 2020?

So I'm doing some housekeeping on my C drive, and I noticed I have two versions of every CC app (full subscription).  Do I really need to keep the 2019 versions on my C drive?  Any issues removing them when using 2020 version to open older files?

Sure you can uninstall older versions from your CC Desktop App.  I prefer to keep old versions until I'm certain I will never ever need them again.  Sometimes the latest versions cause interruptions to workflow.  So check before you remove.

    Yea, that's what I suspected as well.  Typically a safe practice.
