is the download of the Creative Design CS6 standard broken?

I tried downloading it trice. first the normal download without akamai, it took over one hour, but when I tried to open it it said the file was damaged. So i tried downloading it with akamai, it worked, i even got to the installing part, when suddenly it said one of the files can't be openend and I should try to download everything again. So I did, the download was slow but without any real errors, but again, when I tried to open it - the file does not work, try it again.

So here I am, having spent an entire day trying to download - not even getting to installing - my Creative Suite CS6 Design Standard and I am out of patience.

I will not try to "simply download it again" because obviously it won't work. Does anybody know how to resolve this? Does it need any special tricks? Can it only be saved in one special place? Because I am getting the feeling the problem lies with the download file itself.

I used Google Chrome for the download (because with firefox it didn't even start).

Any help would be appreciated.
