Issue launching Lightroom on Mac after download.

I downloaded the latest version of Lightroom as of 9/17/2015 on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.10.5. Download is successful and when I start the program, I get 2 error messages:

- "An internal error has occurred. Cannot create the required folder: /users/.../Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets."

- "An error occurred when attempting to change modules."

Can you please let me know how to overcome this issue? Thanks.

Mac 10.10.5 has new problems, but I don't have any links saved for that version (I'm on Windows)

Mac 10.10.4 possible fix (at least for Premiere Pro) https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1891705

Mac 10.10.? sometimes has problems, often related to "default" permissions needing to be changed
