Question

It keeps saying my Serial number isn't valid..It is,Please help.

I bought my Photoshop elements 7.0 in 2009 and I have used it and installed it on a lot of other laptops and computers and I have never had a problem with it so far. I just got a new laptop with windows 10 and I am trying to install it on my new laptop.. It installs on my laptop just fine, but then it ask me for my serial number and I put it in, and it keeps telling me that it isn't valid.. I got the number off my account and its also on my program on my other laptop, so I have the correct serial number, but its just not accepting it.. I chatted with an operator and he sent me here.. Can u guys help..I use this program for work..Thanks

Could be a Windows 10-specific issue. (Wouldn't be the first time; other users of other apps are having issues installing older apps in Windows 10 as well.) I'm surprised you even got it installed.

Did you try running it in compatibility mode yet?

    Yeah, Its completely installed and just asking my serial number, but I put it in and it says invalid..I have friends that have windows 10 and use the same program with no problem

    Definitely try what Gene suggested; de-register on the older systems if you can. (Believe it's via Help > Deactivate on the menu bar.) Elements should have alerted you that you had too many activations though.

    This should help. Contact Adobe by chat during business hours to reset the activations.

    You mentioned activating on "many computers". You are basically allowed 2. Activating without deactivating might give Adobe the impression that you are passing the number around.

      I contacted them like that says to do, but the man sent me here to the forum..
