Just bought CreativeCloud, installed CC for Mac OS X Yosemite, won't start

The subject says it all.  I just bought CreativeCloud, installed the OS X installer, and when I try to run "Adobe Creative Cloud", nothing shows up.  I even tried to run it from the terminal, and there's no feedback at all.  It just doesn't start.  Any ideas?

Kalanithielen are you able to end the process in the Activity Monitor located in the Applications/Utilities/ folder?

Thank you Jeff, killing the process and then restarting it today seems to have been enough to fix the problem!  Now the CC program is running and downloading software!

It looks like I get the cloud icon in the OS X menu bar, but when I move my cursor over it I just get the spinning beachball endlessly.  No indication/explanation for what's going on.
