You install exactly the same way you did the 1st time... put your disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked

Moving to a new M2 Pro Mac - inserted my disk for Photoshop Elements 14 an the installer appeares with a no go symbol stamped on the foledr.  When I try to activate it I am told "installer" needs to be updated.  It is my disk, not a borrowed one, and I have my serial number but no chance to use it.

That VERY OLD program is not compatible... you need to buy the current version

 

Do check the features first... there are functions the new program does not have, one of them being to create a DVD
