I had to deinstall and reinstall the Cloud app. I tried to reset it but it did not work. I reinstalled and reinstalled Photoshop and it did not work. The same problem occurred in LR, Bridge and PS, so it could then only be the Cloud app. Thank you all for your help.

follow the repair and, if necessary, the clean install steps.

I tried to reset the CC App. Then I tried to update today. It stopped at 48% again. Then I uninstalled PS completely. Now I wait for the next update.

    if a reset failed:

follow the repair option using the cc desktop uninstaller/repairerr, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/apps/manage-apps/creative-cloud-desktop-app/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

if that fails, do a clean cc install:

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

download the cc desktop app by using the links at the both of this page, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/apps/download-install-apps/creative-cloud-apps/download-creative-cloud-desktop-app-using-direct-links.html

install the cc desktop app using an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

I`ll be on the road for 2 weeks. You will not hear anything from me during that time.

Thank you all for your help. I first try to reset the CC App. The next update will show if it works.

If update  installers are created with Rosetta, then they will not work  because Rosetta support are ended.  Apple silicon compliant installers/apps are required now.

Same problem here too. All updates fails/freeze at 49%    No any error messages. After restart apps are removed instead of updated.  LogCollector uploaded somewhere  a file: AdobeLogs_20260522_234051_002-mac-GS.zxp

All the guides I find are windows based, but here is a macmini m1.

I appreciate the update, @Olavi27447691xmg1 but only the fatal error means anything. The percentage just coincides where you are in the installation process. What is being conducted changes with every release.

first try, resetting the cc app:

To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press: Win: Ctrl + Alt + R Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, restart your computer and re-update, if needed.
