Laptop died and new one can't activate my older software. Creative Suite 2 Premium Please HELP!

Hello comunity, Ive been back and forth with Adobe trying to activate my Adobe Creative Suite Premium software.  Yes, it is old but this is a compleatly legit copy, have the jacket and serial numbers and paid a lot for it years ago.  Now they say they dont support my version?  Is this really how they treat an old customer?  Force you to buy their apps and pay monthly or yearly?

cs2 activation servers were shut down years ago.  there's no legal way to use your cs2 beyond the 1 month trial.

 

a few years after cs2 servers were shut down, cs3 and cs4 servers were shut down.  cs5,cs5.5 and cs6 will be next.
