The latest Adobe Creative Cloud updates for Photoshop CC 2015 and Bridge CC 2015 keep failing part way through the install process - error U44M1P34

The errors listed in windows/temp/*.log are:

Time Flag Read (adobegc.log)

listenIPCPackets:REceiveed Termination Message. Breaking from the loop (PDApp.log)

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Ian

Thanks for the reply, Ned. I had already tried that scenario to no avail. Did the renaming thing to the 3 Adobe folders in common files, a few times, and still no luck. Uninstalled Photoshop CC 2015 and started over, but again, my efforts yielded the same results.

So, I went back to your suggestion, but this time, I started with each individual update (started with 8-3-2015). Discovered the 12-14-2015 update was the culprit. After successfully installing the 8-3 and 11-30-2015 updates, the 12-14-2015 update now says it's not a compatible update with my setup/system/whatever. No real explanation or code given. Now, opening Photoshop, I get the a newer/latest splash screen and the new start menu which I didn't have before.

Ok, I'm feeling pretty confident now, the 1-20-2016 should install without fail. As the immortal Fred Flintstone would say "Yabba dabba doo!"

All is well now for this guy in Photoshop CC world!

Hope this will help some others out.

Again, thanks much!

Ian
