I'm trying to update all of my CS6, CC and 2014 CC subscriptions and get the following message:

Update Failed The download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes.(42)

All my products startup correctly so I don't think it's a login or licensing issue.

RobSher1 what steps have you taken to resolve the download error?  I would recommend reviewing Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html for several steps which can be utilized to resolve download errors.

I worked with support for about 5 hours yesterday. The problem is still intermittent after multiple attempts to delete or rename the %localappdata%\Adobe\AAMUpdater, %localappdata%\Adobe\OOBE and %temp% folders. Each time I was able to update 1-3 applications before the error would return. The last engineer that was logged onto my system gathered several of the log files and escalated it to a higher level for review and possibly to generate a bug report. There is/was nothing wrong with my network connection. I know I had to do this with CC last year when some update had come out, but it resolved the first time I renamed the Adobe directories.

Thank you for the update RobSher1.  You are welcome to review your download logs to verify that you are not facing download errors.  You would open the log and do a search on the word 'error' to locate any relevant error messages.
