I'm working with InDesign 2018. The latest version of InDesign 2019 is not available in the Adobe Cloud App Box. The account says I already have the latest version... But a views days ago, I installed 2019 on another computer. What can I do?

Up until now, there has been no pressing reason to upgrade it. I guess I now have a reason. It's just unfortunate to find that out while I'm away on a trip, hoping to make use of InDesign. One would think if Windows 7 is supported, 8.1 would be as well.

Be aware that even some early versions of Windows 10 are not supported: specifically 1507, 1511 and 1607.

InDesign system requirements

If and when you do upgrade to Windows 10, ensure that you update it to the current version.

This is happening to me too. My work computer has 2019, which was updated a few weeks ago. I'm out of town on my laptop, and wanted to update to 2019 so I can continue working on a file. 2019 (version 14.0) is not appearing as an update option. "Check for app updates" doesn't do anything. The latest available version seems to be 13.1.

Ok, I guess I've found my problem. InDesign 2019 is only available for Windows 7 and certain versions of Windows 10. My work computer is Windows 7, so it installed fine, but my laptop is Windows 8.1, which it seems is not supported. What a huge disappointment.

Hi Paulh94764811,

Yes, the latest version of Creative Cloud apps does not support Windows 8.1. To take advantage of the latest features in the CC 2019 apps, you'll need to upgrade your OS to a compatible version of Windows 10.

To know more please read this: OS support for CC 2019 apps.

Launch Creative cloud and go to the apps tab. Click the three dots menu (top-right) and choose “Check for app updates” which should refresh everything.
